Their heart is in the community, to be a part of it, to see it succeed by adding opportunity and culture through skateboarding and snowboarding.
Industry Skate and Snow has been a proud member of the Red Deer community since 2015. Throughout their existence they have hosted multiple skateboarding events and contests that helped raised money for charitable organizations.
Some examples include their “Hudson Heart Project” contest, where money raised went to the Stollery Children’s hospital. “Grow Boys” event at the Dawe Centre, where they had the pleasure of teaching 600 grade 5 boys the art of skatetboarding. Traveling to small communities like Springbrook, Didsbury, Rocky Mountain House and the town’s of Innisfail, Sylvan Lake and Penhold, and putting on an epic event and show that made you and your family say wow!
Store manager Kallie Murray started one of the first all girl skate groups in Alberta where all girls from 4 years to even 48 years old to come and have a skate date and ride night with a welcoming environment for everyone.
These are just some examples when Industry Skate and Snow say’s their heart is in the community. It’s a responsibility to them and their business to help reach out and create a culture and a positive environment for people of all ages to be active, make new friends and stay connected or re-connect with the amazing people of Central Alberta.
