“To Help Ignite The Community and Local Businesses” That’s what I am all about! – Says Spark It Up Productions owner Shane Clark.
Officially getting his event planning license in 2022, Shane & Spark It Up Productions hit the ground running.
“I have always liked planning social events with friends or hockey and baseball teams I play for or coached. Once the pandemic was over, I got an idea of an adult day camp for people to get out and get social again. It was an absolute blast! Fifty-five people in tie-dye shirts playing games – we played as 12-year-olds with an adult twist.”
Spark It Up Production has hosted a plethora of events around Central Alberta!
”In ALL my events, I am supporting the community, local businesses and charities. I have done a Charity poker tournament that supported The Outreach Center as the Charity of choice but also brought people into a small local venue called Little Red Barn. We raised $2600.00 for the Charity. I brought 55 people into The Little Red Barn to enjoy dinner and drinks and see what this little venue was all about. I also reached out to several local businesses for prizes and draws to highlight them to the group. My niche is pub crawls, where I take a busload of people to 3-5 local establishments to enjoy their hospitality. My goals are to get butts in the seats for the day/night but, more importantly, to have them go back to those places without me needing to be involved. I also have “SQUABBLE Buses”, Taking a busload of people to Sylvan Lake Gulls games. Again, we start at a local venue, The Granary, to enjoy eats and drinks before heading to the game this summer.”
