Jamie Worthington
Born in Calgary and raised in Crossfield, Jamie envisioned a career in radio at the age of ten. Yes, he made his own mix tapes and yes, he sounded horrible the first time he cracked the mic. He is a graduate of SAIT’s Cinema, Television, Stage and Radio program and has been heard on radio stations across North America.
His passion for people, local information, celebrity news and experience working in various jobs makes him ready to handle Red Deer’s Best Music each weekday morning. And yes, we are aware he can be inappropriate at times. More accurately, our HR department is aware.

Home grown right here in Central Alberta, B knew Radio was her calling in life at the ripe age of 13 when she was handed the AUX cord and wowed her friends with some great tunes! After that, she was hooked on the feeling sharing music gives, so she found a job that would let her do just that! After graduating high school, she attended N.A.I.T. and landed a job she wouldn’t give up for the world!

Yellowjackets! Love me a good spooky show with a dash of mystery! Plus it has an all-star cast… Can’t go wrong!

Favourite Thing To Do In Red Deer?
In the warmer months I love heading to the historic streets in Red Deer, and looking at all the houses and reading about the histories, then heading to Bo’s to take in a good concert, it’s such an intimate venue I absolutely love it.

July Talk – December 3, 2016 in Calgary! I honestly don’t think there’s a band out there who can beat a live July Talk show. Also loved Imagine Dragons 2013 in Edmonton! It was one of the first concerts I went to that truly moved me and left me itching to go to another one!)

When I was about 17 or 18 I got my Ordained Ministry License as a joke, but I keep it in my back pocket in case someone is ever looking for an impromptu wedding.
